African and FIFA Coca cola rankings October 2017

According to the FIFA Coca-Cola rankings yesterday the 16th of October 2017, the indomitable lions of Cameroon have rose from the 45th to the 42nd position with his Nigerian counterpart from the 44th to the 41st position. While Zambia also made it with one place from 78th to 77th. The sudden rise of the super Eagles is as a result of their qualification for the next year FIFA 2018 world Cup in Russia following the 1-0 win over Zambia on the 7th of October while Cameroon gained his 3 places following their 2-0 win over Algeria that same day in Yaoundé. Algeria have dropped 5 places from 62nd to 67th.
Here is the African rankings as of the 16th: 1st Tunisia 2nd Egypt 3rd Senegal 4th Congo DR 5th Nigeria 6th Cameroon 7th Morocco 8th Ghana 9th Burkina Faso 10th Côte d'ivoire.
Meanwhile the top ten ranked teams in the world, we have Germany, Brazil, Portugal, Argentina, Belgium, Poland, France, Spain, Chile, and Peru.
Before the Cameroon-Nigeria encounter in Uyo Nigeria, all minds knew that Cameroon was going to carry the day but nature changed hands. The Lions even in Y'de couldn't win against the Super Eagles. 80% of Cameroon fans along the streets of Yaoundé place blames on Hugo Broos whose contract has already expire a few months ago. Question? Why was Choupo banked in Uyo? Why was Njie not called up in the first place for the dual encounters?
Before the match between Cameroon-Algeria Broos said he is working towards FIFA rankings and the 2019 AFCON in Cameroon.
Cameroon will be moving to Zambia on the 11th Nov. 2017 for the round three of the world cup qualifiers. While Nigeria takes on Algeria. Nigeria is still battling for a place in the Afcon 2019 to take place in Cameroon come 2019.  They have hopes to takes down South Africa and Seychelles in their upcoming encounters.

Nigeria's Microphone maker Davido accused of his friends tragic death

Davido wasn't arrested

David Adeleke aka Davido took to media of recent statements by some Nigerian media platforms of his knowabout of the death of Tagbo and dj Olu. Davido's lawyers have insisted that his client loss two of his friends and deeply condoles with their families. The image of Davido is being tarnished, putting a sad face to him according to statements published by some media houses in Lagos.
Davido's lawyers are appealing to the public to derail from uninformed conclusions. Davido has suspended his shows in respect of his friends Passover.
     Davido wasn't arrested but was available for police investigation. A CCTV footage explain a step by step event of what happened leading to the discovery of Tagbo and Olu.
Davido wasn't involved in the untimely death of the deceased nor did he instructed their death. The deceased didn't step into Davido's vehicle on the evening of this said event. CCTV footage obtained from Shisha Room where he had gone earlier in company of friends of Clarke Adeleke's birthday.
He arrived the Shisha Room in his vehicle (CCTV) with some friends including the deceased all standing close to Davido's car as he prepares to leave after drinks and celebrations. In the footage, the deceased is seen drunk and hovering, falling on people. Davido tried to convince him to get to his vehicle so that he could go home safe but his friend dumped the idea.
CCTV still revealed how Davido drove out of the premises of Shisha while the deceased went back to Shisha Room in the company of many friends. It was at DNA night club that Davido received the shock and at the same time tragic news of the death of the deceased.

Something you may likely hate about the faculty of science, University of Yaoundé 1

The faculty of science may not be good for non French speaking students in the UY1,Cameroon

          The University of Yaoundé 1 is the mother of all Universities in Cameroon created after independence. It is a bilingual University with French and English as the languages of instruction. Today it has a student body of more than 40000 divided in more than 8 departments in more than 4 campuses in the country. The main campus is located in Yaounde the country's capital. Acceptance rates are very high in this state University. It offers undergraduate, graduate, and PhD levels.

The faculty of science is 99% not good for non French language proficient students because of the following reasons;

1. Languages of instruction in this faculty is supposed to be 50% French and 50% English but about 99% of courses are offered in French. 
2. 80% of the faculty professors and doctors are French speakers with poor English accent and a little mastery of the other aspects of the English Language.
3. Class size is a mess. From thousands in undergraduate to hundreds in graduate classrooms.. Very uncomfortable.
4. If you ever plan of applying for merit based graduate scholarship, do not go for undergraduate studies in this faculty. Here GPAs are very poor and 90 percent graduate with GPAs between 2.0-2.3 for undergraduates
5. Hands on research is not highly encouraged in this faculty especially during your 3 years undergraduate studies but has improved for graduate students recently. Laboratories owes some refurbishment and equipments. If improvement can increase in the above mentioned phrases, this university in the next 5 years may top the African chat among the best Universities.

          Although there are hackles in this faculty, and in other faculties, these students after graduation can adapt to any education conditions both here in Cameroon and abroad. Note that their poor GPAs doesn't mean that they are not intelligent. This university is still a home to one of the best doctors and professors in Africa.
         It is ranked number 1 in Cameroon and at times appear among this best 50 in Africa. But my problem here is its I'll bilingual nature. Note that this University is meant to be bilingual but many faculties are not.

Dreamers of becoming US citzen can apply

DV lottery 2019 is here and now

       Thousands are behind a single question in the whole wide world whether they could be 2019 DV lottery winners this year. My answer is simply to give a try. We call it lottery meaning that you may still qualify in all aspects but may not be selected same as you can be a winner. This is what I call the US dream. It is contested by 10's of millions each year between October and November (a month) by the US government but only about 55000 applicants carry the day. Geographic distribution also counts when it comes to winning this lottery i.e Each continent has a particular percentage out of the 55000 winners.

Who can apply

       A list of selected countries is always displayed in the drop down menu as one starts filling the form. If yours appears there, then count yourself eligible. Other qualifications like completion of high school, bachelor's degree and other training only counts when facing a consular during your interview in your home country. So if you applied without these qualifications, try hard to qualify because the consular may need them. Please do not carry fake certificates because they will rectify them. If fake, you may be banned from that embassy for life. Beware be warn.

All you have to do is to look for a good camera that can take clean JPG images. I prefer a white background than the others. Make sure your image doesn't have any shadow. Look for a photo editor to help re size your digital image to 600×600px. Never retouch the image to make it more brighter than the original. All the two ears must be clearly seen, no cap, and no face shields. I recommend a public photographer for you dv photo. Low quality jpg camera may never give you a well moulded impression of yourself. Make sure you follow the dv photo requirements and instructions from the dv lottery website. Fill the form clearly and upload your image. Note that if your image is not well drafted to a 600×600 dimension, the online process will not get your application processed. When filling the application make sure you create an email. I recommend gmail. If selected you will be contacted for other requirements through this email. But note that dv lottery check is never notified through emails. If this happens, then you are in a scam box.Towards the end is the marital status and if you are married, then you have to give the details of your spouse. If you have children, you also have to provide their full info as well but at a particular age, you child can also apply. Example my 17yrs old son can apply on his own.
Submit your application and keep your sixteen character code to check by May next year. Know that this code can't be retrieved. Print or make copies of it and keep it in a secret place. You can do the online application by a simple click on this dv lottery official website www.dvlottery.state.gov . Beware of scam sites that ask for money to be paid through bank transfers, PayPal and others.
If you receive a winning notification by mail, know that you are dealing with a fraudster.
