African and FIFA Coca cola rankings October 2017
According to the FIFA Coca-Cola rankings yesterday the 16th of October 2017, the indomitable lions of Cameroon have rose from the 45th to the 42nd position with his Nigerian counterpart from the 44th to the 41st position. While Zambia also made it with one place from 78th to 77th. The sudden rise of the super Eagles is as a result of their qualification for the next year FIFA 2018 world Cup in Russia following the 1-0 win over Zambia on the 7th of October while Cameroon gained his 3 places following their 2-0 win over Algeria that same day in Yaoundé. Algeria have dropped 5 places from 62nd to 67th.
Here is the African rankings as of the 16th: 1st Tunisia 2nd Egypt 3rd Senegal 4th Congo DR 5th Nigeria 6th Cameroon 7th Morocco 8th Ghana 9th Burkina Faso 10th Côte d'ivoire.
Meanwhile the top ten ranked teams in the world, we have Germany, Brazil, Portugal, Argentina, Belgium, Poland, France, Spain, Chile, and Peru.
Before the Cameroon-Nigeria encounter in Uyo Nigeria, all minds knew that Cameroon was going to carry the day but nature changed hands.
