Anglophone Crisis- UN To Donate About 107 Billion Francs To 437 000 Displaced Persons in Cameroon

The United Nations Organization launched last Tuesday 26 March, 2019 a call for donors to collect funds to help the displaced persons from armed conflicts in the North West and South West Regions of Cameroon. The course is called the Anglophone crisis "Ambazonia".

According to the UN, more than 437 000 persons have been displaced from Cameroon due to the ongoing Anglophone Crisis in the two English speaking Regions and more than 35 000 have flee to the neighboring Nigeria according to "Le Jour Newspaper" on its 27th March edition.

Urgently, the UN Agency for Refugees indicated the need for 31,1 million Euros for her very important humanitarian assistance for a special case displaced persons.

The situations on the battle field is still horrible according to the High Commissioner for Refugees, Babar Baloch " Violent clashes between the separatists and the military for these past 13 months have forced thousands of people to flee their homes especially towards the Nigerian boarders".

The Anglophone Crisis escalated in 2016 with protests by teachers and lawyers from the anglophone Regions exclaiming marginalization from dominant French centered administration.

More than 176 villages have been burn't down in the 2 English speaking regions and an estimated 1000 civilians killed, about 500 Cameroon soldiers and unknown Ambazonian soldiers killed.

The UN, US and many countries have asked both parties to look for long lasting solutions for the Anglophone crisis to no avail.

Cameroon with a population of about 25 million inhabitants is a bilingual country with French and English as her official languages. Anglophones counts about 6 million inhabitants in the 2 English speaking Regions of the country.

A good friend of mine Joe makes really good cash, maybe not rich but not bad at all. He owns a medium-sized machine shop. He was meeting the gold diggers until he changed his image and went back to the basics.

She said "I am a nurse, I am a doctor and head of Eye Department. I wanted a man who wanted me, not my money, and you wanted the same thing".

They still live in the same house, but have more nicer homes and cars at the beach. Now with two beautiful kids.

15 University Of Buea Students Kidnapped

At least 15 University of Buea Football team players were kidnapped today the 20th March, 2019 who were going for training in view of the upcoming university games 2019.

The University of Buea is a host to over 15,000 students, both national and international students. Due to the escalation of the Anglophone crisis, Many students have flee to different universities across the country while others abroad and others back home.

Under a very tensed atmosphere in Buea one could not expect these students to go out for training. The ex-secretary of state, Emmanuel Ngafeeson was also kidnapped today in Bamenda.

For now, no body has claimed the kidnapping. Emmanuel Ngafeeson who has once been the secretary of state and the Keeper of the Seal at the ministry of Justice was kidnapped in his home in Ntabessi, Bamenda.

This kidnapping is just after that of the coach of Yong Sport Academy of Bamenda, Emmanuel Ndoumbe Boss who was finally released.

Kidnappings are daily in the English speaking Regions of Cameroon since late 2017 till date. The international community is urging the government of Cameroon to seek for long lasting solutions that could end this crisis and for the citizens of the English speaking Regions to gain back their daily life activities.
