According to the UN, more than 437 000 persons have been displaced from Cameroon due to the ongoing Anglophone Crisis in the two English speaking Regions and more than 35 000 have flee to the neighboring Nigeria according to "Le Jour Newspaper" on its 27th March edition.
Urgently, the UN Agency for Refugees indicated the need for 31,1 million Euros for her very important humanitarian assistance for a special case displaced persons.
The situations on the battle field is still horrible according to the High Commissioner for Refugees, Babar Baloch " Violent clashes between the separatists and the military for these past 13 months have forced thousands of people to flee their homes especially towards the Nigerian boarders".
The Anglophone Crisis escalated in 2016 with protests by teachers and lawyers from the anglophone Regions exclaiming marginalization from dominant French centered administration.
More than 176 villages have been burn't down in the 2 English speaking regions and an estimated 1000 civilians killed, about 500 Cameroon soldiers and unknown Ambazonian soldiers killed.
The UN, US and many countries have asked both parties to look for long lasting solutions for the Anglophone crisis to no avail.
Cameroon with a population of about 25 million inhabitants is a bilingual country with French and English as her official languages. Anglophones counts about 6 million inhabitants in the 2 English speaking Regions of the country.
