The Cameroonian Superstar Magasco's plans for anglophones in crisis was diffused by him to tens of journalists in Yao Ba Night Club in Yaounde.
His unique statement was "I will use 30% of my concert revenue to help Anglophones who are in crisis".
Many journalists from different media circles arrived Yao Ba Night club for the Bamenda Boy's announcement. Referenced to his Golden Show which he had to present on the 22nd December, 2018 in Wada Sports complex.
Artists of his kind like Mimie, Pit Baccardi, Shan'l and Dj Zoumanto were among the panelists.
"I lost my Dad at the age of 8 and the street of Bamenda rose me, so i know the miseries and all that's going on in these two regions. I will offer 30% of my revenue to the population".
The Empire Boss Pit Baccardi call on all Cameroonians to come out massively for Magasco's call. Mimie said she will do her personal best for the success of the concert.
Shan'l, Cameroon is my second home because her mother is a Cameroonian and Magasco is more to her like a brother.
This is first of a kind by Cameroonian artist Magasco to support a people in distress or in Crisis. The Anglophone crisis has lead to the displacement of more than 70 000 anglophone Cameroonians to the neighboring Nigeria and more than 150 000 internally i.e different regions in the country.
The crisis had led to the lost of lives and property in the English speaking regions of Cameroon. International Crisis groups estimates 500 civilians, 220 military and more than 1000 homes destroyed.
I appreciate Magasco for his hard work and encourage other Cameroonian artists to pick the courage for an updated life renewal of refugees in and out of Cameroon.
