University of Winnipeg President Scholarship for World leaders in Canada, 2018/2019


Scholarships for international students at the University of Winnipeg, Canada 2018/2019.
The University of Winnipeg is accepting applications for President Scholarship for world leaders in Canada. These scholarships are to be awarded to international students entering in any of the university's division for the first time.

The University of Winnipeg is an urban Campus in Manitoba's largest city. It is a student welcoming focused institution noted for academic excellence, scholarships, comfortable class size, campus diversity and sustainability.

Scholarship description

The application deadlines are 1st June, 2018 and  for fall 2018 and 1st October for Winter 2019. Scholarships are available for students entering first year of any program; Undergraduate, Graduate, Collegiate, Professional, Applied and continuing education or English language program.

Scholarships are awarded to all subjects offered by the university of Winnipeg. The scholarship award ranges from $3500-$5000
English language program=$3500, Graduate program=$5000, Undergraduate=$5000, Collegiate=$3500, Professional, Applied continuing education=$3500.

Number of scholarship are 15 for international students and scholarships to be taken in Canada.

Scholarship Eligibility

Have a minimum of 80% admission average or equivalent.
Be an international student.
Entering first year of any program.
Demonstrate exceptional leadership skills.
Apply by deadline.

English language Requirements

IELTS with a minimum score of 550 with not less than 50 in each component (paper-based).
IELTS minimum band score of 6.5 based on academic module.
Cambridge Advanced English (CAE) minimum grade C.
MELAB minimum score of 80%
English language program at the University of Winnipeg: successful completion of level 5.
Canadian English Language Assessment (CAEL).
Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English with a score of C.

How to apply

Application should be submitted by post.
Students should also submit the following; A personal statement like skill, extracurricular/volunteer involvement and academic goal (250-500 words).
Resume; Awards, work experience, publications 
Official transcripts.
