More revelations have surfaced on why Italian based 31 years old Nigerian lady Rita Amenze was killed by her 61-year-old Italian husband Pierangelo Pellizzar

It will be recalled that Rita was shot 4 times while she was stepping out of her office

A very reliable source in Italy who spoke to CKN News on condition of anonymity made some startling revelations on the incident 

According to her Rita came into Italy in 2017 as an illegal immigrant and was rescued from the sea and taken to a refugee camp

In 2018  Pierangelo Pellizzar found her, married her, and removed her from the refugee camp.

Not too long after she was granted citizenship ( the Italian passport ) which enabled her to get a good job.

Before heading to Italy she already had 3 kids back home in Nigeria.

Recently she traveled back to Nigeria and got married to the father of her three kids

Before she returned her best friend went and revealed to the white man that his wife is cheating on him and has gotten married in Nigeria to the father of her children.

She told the white man that he should watch out because as soon Rita returns,  she'll file for a divorce.

And that was what Rita actually did, she filed for a divorce as soon as she returned. She wanted to divorce the white man and use her document to invite her Nigerian husband and children to relocate to Italy.

Her Italian husband would not want to hear of this, all attempts to convince her to change her mind were rebuffed.

He traced her to her office, shot her four times in front of her colleagues before handing himself over to the police.

Investigation showed that he is a drug addict who has been in and out of jail severally. 

He has pleaded that he was emotionally disturbed and depressed by the action of Rita which led to his action 

Pierangelo Pellizzar from CKN News investigation was banned from acquiring firearms,  but it was not clear how he was able to lay his hands on the gun he used in killing Rita Amenze.

The Nigerian Ambassador to Italy, the Nigerian Community in Italy as well as the Executive Chairman of Nigerian Diaspora Commission Hon Abike Dabiri Erewa have called for a thorough investigation into the incident.

[Breaking] Football Player Dies Same Day He Had To Travel To Europe.

The unfortunate incident occurred on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, during a training session between Kelechi and his teammates from Lion heart Football Club in Ayobo, Lagos.

According to reports, the deceased slumped after a collision with another player and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was confirmed dad.

One of his teammates, who spoke with Vanguard said, “The incident happened on the very day Kelechi and three others were supposed to travel to Europe. We had gone for training that day. He went for an aerial battle. On his way down, he lost balance and h*t his head on the ground.

Immediately, the coaches administered first aid on him, trying to revive him. When it didn’t yield any result, they rushed him to the hospital. But he died on the way.”

Late  Kelechi’s elder brother, Uche lamented that, “It’s unfortunate that Kelechi died on the same day he was supposed to travel, his flight ticket had been purchased, the flight was scheduled for 8:45pm and he died before noon. 

Kelechi is the last born in our family. Our parents are alive and they are d*vastated by the news. Kelechi will be buried on Saturday September 5, 2021.”

Resistance forces in Afghanistan have vowed to continue in their fight against the Taliban as they trained in the Panjshir Valley, a strategic fortress which sits north of Kabul.

Hundreds of fighters, who have never surrendered to the new rulers of Kabul, were seen wading through water with logs of wood over their back while others trained with their rifles as they prepared for the possible arrival of Taliban forces. 

The anti-Taliban uprising forces, known as the Northern Alliance, have vowed to fight on to the last and defend the 170,000 residents, most of them Tajiks, who live in the Panjshir valley, which lies in the Hindu Kush mountains north of the Afghan capital. 

It comes as the Taliban claimed they were sending hundreds of fighters to the region and had the Panjshir surrounded.

Afghanistan's last bastion against the Taliban, is being led by Ahmad Massoud, 32, the British-educated son of a legendary freedom fighter in the Panjshir Valley 

Mr Massoud, who was trained by the British military at Sandhurst, has vowed that no Taliban fighter will pass through the narrow gorge into the valley.

He was only 12 when his father, Ahmad Shah Massoud, who was as a formidable guerrilla fighter, known as the 'Afghan Napoleon' and 'the Lion of the Panjshir', was murdered by Osama bin Laden's Al Qaeda assassins posing as Al Jazeera journalists - two days before 9/11.

Mr Massoud, who was forced to leave his homeland, then went to secondary school in Iran before training for a year at Sandhurst and then graduated with a degree in War Studies from King's College London in 2015. 

Now Mr Massoud has vowed to fight on to the last and defend the 170,000 residents of the Panjshir.

Deported Cameroonian Asylum Seeker From Slovenia To Be paid €5000

The Supreme Court has ruled that Slovenia must allow a Cameroonian asylum seeker who was deported from Slovenia twice to enter the country and request asylum status in what is a landmark decision. The Cameroonian is currently in Bosnia-Herzegovina. The court’s decision is final and no appeals are possible, the daily Dnevnik reported on Saturday.

The Slovenian police, which unlawfully deported the Cameroonian to Croatia twice in 2019, and the Interior Ministry must allow him to return to request international protection, the court decided in a landmark ruling that change “the rules of the game” in processing migrants on the southern border, Dnevnik said.

The Cameroonian is entitled to applying for asylum as he had left his country to flee persecution as a victim of an ethnic conflict

This comes after the Administrative Court sided with an appeal by him in 2020. Apart from ruling that he must be allowed to return to seek asylum, the Administrative Court also decided that Slovenia must pay him compensation of EUR 5,000.

The decision was then appealed by the ministry, which now no longer has the option to do so since the Supreme Court upheld the ruling.

When it comes to the compensation, the Supreme Court has not made any decision but instead urged the Cameroonian to file a separate compensation lawsuit.

The Supreme Court’s ruling was handed down in April. The InfoKolpa civil initiative, which has been providing legal protection for the Cameroonian, has warned that the ministry has not wanted to implement the ruling for the past four months.

In line with the court’s decision, Slovenia should issue a travel permit to the Cameroonian so that he could arrive at the Slovenian border without any legal issues, however the ministry does not want to do this, InfoKolpa said, adding that this could be sorted out the same way it had been sorted out recently in the case of an Afghan who had helped the Slovenian army and his family.

The Cameroonian’s counsel Dino Bauk said that his client “is still trapped in Bosnia-Herzegovina where his basic human rights continue to be violated”.

After he learned of the court’s decision, the Cameroonian is said to have attempted to arrive at the Slovenian border by himself a number of times, but always in vain, according to Dnevnik.

The paper addressed a number of relevant questions to the ministry and police. The police responded by saying that it had been notified of the ruling and it “forwarded information about the implementation of the ruling via a law firm which represented the foreigner”.

Dnevnik reported that Police Commissioner Anton Olaj had said that the Cameroonian may report to any Slovenian border crossing.
