Russian military Jet intercepts a US spy plane over the black sea


An almost collision between US and Russia fighter jets
A US Nevy spy plane Came face to face with Russian fighter get and almost to the point of a head-on collision. The Russian SU Flanker intercepted a US EP-3 Aries ll  aircraft flying over the black sea to almost a 5 feet from each other, US officials.
The US department of state stated that, the US aircraft was operating strictly under international laws which is what Russia is used to disregarding.

The department of state also pin points the 1972 Agreement for the prevention of incidents on and over the high seas, an agreement both countries signed to avoid any collision in the air and sea.
According to CNN, it lasted for almost three hours, the US Navy tell CNN, they finally ended their mission on a block edge in order to avoid crashes, a safety precautions
. The Russia's Defense military responded they were following international laws as well.

The Russia fighter jet buzzed the US Navy reconnaissance plane at 1:00 pm on the 29-01-18 as it was flying over the neutral waters of the black sea, the Russian defense said " the Russian fighter jet finally flew over the object and visually identified it as an American aircraft" reads the phrase.

Even the US naval forces Europe representatives, the Russian SU-27 took a hard right to left run on the EP-3's right side bringing it from the EP's wingtip. The plane entered its path, causing it to causing violent turbulence onboard.
Note that any small interception can have dangerous consequences especially at aircrew. The US Navy said that " there is no margin for error and insufficient time and space for our aircrew to take correct action" Bill Ellis
It is an unusual event where the US keep complaining of a Russian aircraft flying close to an American military aircraft.
The quest is, were both parties going high seas for the same purpose?
