An odd incident involving Ronaldo took place just before Manchester United's encounter against Young Boys in the Champions League kickoff in Switzerland.

The Portuguese star unleashed a thunderous strike, with the ball hitting a female security guard who fell to the ground and had to be treated by medical staff.

Ronaldo reached out to ask about the lady's health before returning to the pitch to continue his warm-up ahead of his first Manchester United game in Europe since that 2009 final against Barça.

The former Real Madrid forward, who took pictures with several fans before the duel, netted ManU's opener at the Stade de Suisse.

Ronaldo appologized after loosing the match 2-1, further explaining that the red card given to Wan Bissaka at the 35min of play dealth a lot for manu.
